Also, you can take advantage of your free profile search ability to find candidates in your area that meet your requirements.
Q: Is there a separate or extra fee to be able to search the profile database for candidates? A: No, the ability to search candidate profiles is absolutely free when you have an active job posted.
Q: Can I find temporary supply staff through Child Care Advantage? A: Yes, you can. We have an ever-expanding list of childcare providers looking to fill temporary and supply positions within your organization. This list is accessible only when you have an active job posted.
Q: How can I determine the experience and quality of care each candidate may provide? A: There are several ways. Each candidate has a detailed 3-page profile detailing their experience in the childcare field, and qualifications relevant to their employment goals. As an employer you are able to review those qualifications before determining if you want interview a jobseeker.
Q: I have some questions for organizations. Is there a way that I can correspond with other members of Child Care Advantage? A: Yes, you can use the Child Care Advantage Message Board, which is open to Employers who have an active job posting on Child Care Advantage.
Q: I am a Camp Director looking specifically for a candidate with a National Lifeguard Society Certification. Can I find out if candidates meet that requirement without contacting them? A: Yes – you can perform a search for all lifeguard candidates, and those with any special certification will list it in their profile.
Q: How much does it cost to post a job with Child Care Advantage? A: Child Care Advantage has kept our cost as low as possible – the price of a job posting ranges from $54-79.

Q: Does Child Care Advantage screen the candidates? A: No the candidates are not screened.
Q: Is registration free for jobseekers? A: There is no cost to register to find childcare employment.
Q: How will a jobseeker get in touch with me? A: As the employer you can determine how you would like jobseekers to contact you. You have the option of e-mail, fax, phone, in person, or mail. Note that you have the option to make any contact information on your profile invisible to jobseekers.
Q: What happens if I choose invoice as my method of payment? A: You will have automatic access to Child Care Advantage, and will receive an automatic e-mail invoice. The payment will be due in 30 days.
Q: How do I know my credit card information is secure? A: Child Care Advantage takes your security seriously, and thus selected to secure your credit card transactions using SSL (secure socket layer) technology. ChildCareAdvantage.ca protects your information using a 2048bit encryption; view the certificate by clicking the lock symbol in the URL of the payment page. SSL is the industry standard for protecting web communications today. The SSL security protocol provides data encryption, server authentication and message integrity. Credit card processes are processed immediately and securely.
Q: What do I do if I have forgotten my login password? A: Simply click on the "Forgot your password link" on the Login Page and your password will automatically be emailed to the same email account that you supplied when registering.
