Q: How do I search for a job?
A: Child Care Advantage gives you three ways to search for a job. After registering, use the Search For A Job link to input the desired search criteria. You can also search by job-type and city. You are able to contact the employer directly through their preferred method.
Q: What kind of jobs can I find on childcareadvantage.ca?
A: Child Care Advantage lists part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions in a variety of fields of child care. The employers ranging from day care centres, private schools to day and residential camps across Canada.
Q: Why do I need to complete a profile?
A: Your Profile is a record of all the information that an employer will need to know when you apply for a job. Essentially, it acts as a universal job application. By creating a Profile you will be able to apply for multiple jobs by filling out one application.
Q: How will an employer get in touch with me?
A: Employers can either e-mail you or call you. You will also be able to contact the employer directly by applying for positions that they have posted. Make sure to include both your email address and your phone number in your application.
Q: Is registration free for jobseekers?
A: Yes, there is no cost to register to find childcare employment.
Q: I do not want my current employer to know that I am job searching. But I want to search for a job. What should I do?
A: As a job seeker you are able to make yourself invisible - but still have access to the site. Therefore other members of the site are not able to see you but you are able to search through the job postings.
Q: What do I do if I have forgotten my login password?
A: Simply click on the “Forgot your password link” on the Login Page and your password will automatically be emailed to the same email account that you supplied when registering.
